I was born in India and moved to the US at the age of 15, and from pretty early on I had a gift for bringing people together. Long before this was ever a business, I was the one turning ordinary gatherings into something truly special, crafting elaborate parties and get-togethers for friends and family just because I loved it. That same passion carried me through college, where I served as president of multiple clubs and helped put together events that drew thousands of people.
But the real turning point came in 2024, when I planned my own wedding, a beautiful celebration on the shores of Rangeley Lake in Maine. As someone who genuinely loves planning, I expected the process to feel like a dream. Instead, I ran headfirst into what so many couples experience: hidden pricing, lack of transparency, and jaw-dropping costs for the most basic of tasks. Balancing it all as a full-time employee made it even harder. I knew something had to change.
So I built the company I wished had existed.
Allure Affair was founded on one simple but radical idea: every couple deserves to know exactly what they’re paying for. All of our pricing lives right on our website, no surprises, no runaround. We’ve pulled off a stunning 210-person Saturday wedding in Massachusetts for $35,000, because I deeply believe that your dream wedding shouldn’t be reserved for the few.
